The acceptance of transfer credit from GTC by a four-year university is up to the destination university. Each four-year institution has their own rules for accepting transfer courses.
There are three universities that have in the past accepted all of the courses taught by GTC and the CPT department. Here are links to these universities:
Bellevue University – Bellevue, Nebraska - http://gvltech.smoothesttransfer.com/
Franklin University – Columbus, Ohio - http://www.franklin.edu/getting-started/community-college-students/
Strayer University – Local Campus in Greenville - http://www.strayer.edu/south-carolina/greenville
University of South Carolina Update:
Also, GTC has a 2+2 articulation agreement with the University of South Carolina Upstate which will accept some of our GTC CPT Department courses in their Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, and Information Management and Systems programs in Spartanburg and the University Center in Greenville.
CIS and CS at USCU - http://www.uscupstate.edu/academics/arts_sciences/math_cs/computer_science/

All of these four-year institutions are regionally accredited as is Greenville Technical College.
I hope this information is helpful. GTC provides advising for University Transfer candidates at the Advising Center in the Admissions and Registration Center (ARC) (http://gvltec.edu/advising/) which may be of additional help to you.
